Talenteum Africa and Global Mentorship Initiative

Talenteum Africa is thrilled to partner with Global Mentorship Initiative, a nonprofit connecting graduating college students from underserved communities with careers through structured, short-term remote mentorship. Over 40% of GMI’s 2,000+ students live in Africa.

Through completing a 14-week, one-to-one online mentorship with a career professional, GMI students develop and reinforce the soft skills necessary to find and excel in a global work environment. Students are expected to complete practical activities, demonstrating their ability to work autonomously and on a deadline while efficiently communicating by email and web conference with program staff and their mentor.

Through this partnership, Talenteum is expanding talent pool to empower high potential, ready-to-work young professionals from underserved communities.

Global Mentorship Initiative is thrilled to partner with Talenteum Africa, a bilingual (French and English) Panafrican Web Recruitment platform which connects qualified candidates with global employers looking to hire remote talent for posts ranging from accounting to web programming to paralegal work.

By connecting talent managers with Talenteum’s 12K+ candidates, they are connecting skilled professionals with well-paid jobs and allowing them to continue living and investing in their local communities, while supporting companies in accessing the tremendous talent of the fastest-growing skilled workforce in the world.

Through this partnership, GMI program graduates in Africa will be included in the profiles which Talenteum shares with potential employees. Through partnership, we are providing closer connectivity to employment for thousands of high potential young professionals.
